On 27 September 2024, YANTIAN Customer Communication Session, themed "Green, Smart, World-Class Hub Port," was successfully held.

The event was attended by distinguished leaders including Li Zhong, Secretary of the Yantian District Party Committee, Zheng Cai, Director of the Port and Shipping Administration of Shenzhen Transport Bureau, Zhang Wenqing, Senior Researcher at the Office of Port of Entry and Exit of Shenzhen, Luo Longxin, Executive Deputy Governor and Party Committee Member of Yantian District, Gao Dongchun, Deputy Governor and Party Committee Member of Yantian District, Dong Jianpeng, Deputy Director of the Foreign Trade Department at the Commerce Bureau of Shenzhen, Zhang Yihong, Director of the Freight Department at China Railway Guangzhou Group, and Shen Huaxin, President of Shenzhen Port Group. Ericsson Lin, Account Director, South China, Hutchison Ports Holding Limited, introduced this cost-effective, efficient logistics channel, co-developed by Yantian Port and Hong Kong Port. The project aims to improve transshipment efficiency across the Greater Bay Area, creating a "One Hub, Two Port Zones" framework to further strengthen global connectivity.

The "SZ-HK Connect" provides customers with a green, efficient, one-stop logistics solution. Since Hong Kong is the last port-of-call for most shipping services in China, cargo from YANTIAN can now reach key regions in Asia within merely 4 to 7 days, making it the fastest service from South China to South America.
