AEU7 relaunch & DAY9 launch: Elevating YANTIAN as a global logistics super hub
As a key economic engine and manufacturing hub, South China holds a vital position in the global supply chain. YANTIAN, the region's premier transshipment hub, has long been a cornerstone of COSCO Shipping's global network, facilitating seamless trade flows and enhancing supply chain resilience.
The relaunch of AEU7 service represents a game-changing upgrade:
l Expanded capacity: Increased frequency and capacity for direct services from South China to major European ports.
l Accelerated efficiency: Optimised port rotations ensure faster transit times, significantly shortening delivery cycles for cross-border shipments.
l Reliable logistics support: Stable space allocation guarantees seamless transport of new energy raw materials and finished products, with hassle-free handling of battery cargo.
Lawrence Shum, Managing Director of Hutchison Ports YANTIAN, emphasised in his speech that the relaunch of the AEU7 service and the launch of DAY9 will significantly bolster YANTIAN's connectivity with Europe and North America. With a busier shipping schedule, YANTIAN's strategic advantage as China's last port-of-call will provide cross-border e-commerce and manufacturers with a "golden gateway" for expedited cargo handling and swift global delivery.
The DAY9 service, built on the pillars of stability, growth, quality, and sustainability, features 22 high-frequency services connecting YANTIAN with key ports across Europe and North America. This further strengthens YANTIAN's role as a vital hub, ensuring that "Made in China" products integrate seamlessly into global supply chains.
