Over the past year, YANTIAN has continued to earn widespread recognition from both customers and the industry in the field of cross-border e-commerce. These accolades not only underscore its role as a world-class shipping hub, but also reflect strong affirmation from both the market and the industry.

Why YANTIAN is the preferred port for cross-border e-commerce?

As the world's largest trading nation, China has ranked first globally in cargo trade for eight consecutive years and is now a major trading partner of more than 150 countries and regions. According to the General Administration of Customs of China, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached CNY1.37 trillion in the first half of 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 10.3%.

When it comes to global cross-border e-commerce, the focus is on China; when it comes to China's cross-border e-commerce, the focus is on Shenzhen. Leveraging its first-mover advantage, complete industrial ecosystem, stable and efficient supply chains, and a proactive, reform-driven government, Shenzhen has ranked No.1 nationwide in cross-border e-commerce imports and exports for three consecutive years.

As a critical link in the global supply chain, YANTIAN plays a pivotal hub role in channelling this momentum, serving as a key gateway supporting China's high-quality international trade development.

1️⃣Service advantage: global connectivity accelerating market access

With over 100 international shipping services each week, YANTIAN has built a high-frequency, extensive, faster, and high-efficiency global shipping network, providing cross-border e-commerce enterprises with seamless, one-stop logistics solutions.

By leveraging the complementary shipping networks of the two ports—together offering more than 240 international sailings per week—cargo can seamlessly connect to over 400 global destinations. The feeder service between YANTIAN and Hong Kong has been in continuous operation for more than 31 years, maintaining steady year-on-year growth. In 2024, laden container volume on this corridor increased by nearly 30%, setting new historical records for both laden containers and total throughput.

29 inland ports and 34 rail-sea services: YANTIAN is home to Shenzhen's only railway with direct port access. Domestically, this network connects seamlessly with China's national rail system, covering the Greater Bay Area, Southwest China, and Central China. Internationally, it links with over 100 weekly services, providing efficient access to major global markets.

Innovative intermodal solutions: Chongqing–Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Rail-Sea Service and Chengdu–Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Rail-Sea Service have significantly enhanced logistics stability. These services reduce transit time from Sichuan and Chongqing to YANTIAN from six days to just two, and enable delivery to Kwai Tsing Port within three days. This creates a stable, efficient, and low-carbon logistics corridor, enabling seamless connectivity between inland regions, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, while supporting Hong Kong's deeper integration into national development strategies.
