Digital transformation accelerates in the port and shipping sector as YANTIAN welcomes another industry leader
OOCL joins the paperless documentation platform, further reinforcing YANTIAN's industry-leading position

On 13 October 2025, YANTIAN's blockchain-based paperless documentation platform welcomed a new partner, OOCL. This marks another important milestone following the platform's first successful operation in July 2024 and the full coverage of Shenzhen–Hong Kong feeder services in June 2025.

End-to-end processing completed in just 24 minutes
Processing time reduced from 1–2 days to just over 10 minutes
Operational steps streamlined from 4 to 2
Paperless import documentation for Shenzhen–Hong Kong feeder services
From breakthrough to scale: a solid path toward paperless transformation
In July 2024, YANTIAN's blockchain-based paperless documentation platform successfully completed its first online release of shared-slot import containers, setting a new industry benchmark with a total processing time of just 24 minutes. This achievement effectively addressed a long-standing industry challenge in Shenzhen, where shared-slot containers had previously been unable to complete release procedures online. On June 20, 2025, the platform reached another milestone by enabling paperless import documentation for Shenzhen–Hong Kong feeder services, which reduced the document processing time for feeder imports of COSCO Shipping South China from 1–2 days to just over 10 minutes, while simplifying the workflow from four steps to two, truly realizing the concept of "letting data run more and customers run less."
OOCL joins the platform, adding a key piece to YANTIAN's smart port ecosystem
The official onboarding of OOCL marks another major milestone in the expansion of YANTIAN's paperless documentation platform, further extending its service network and accelerating the development of a more mature smart port ecosystem.
OOCL recognises the value of YANTIAN's digital services
