In addition, members of YANTIAN's management team were individually recognised with the Outstanding Leadership Award, Outstanding Contribution Award, and Innovation and Development Award, making the YANTIAN management team the sole entity in the industry to claim all three honours. These accolades not only affirm YANTIAN's achievements in building stable, efficient, and low-carbon logistics corridors and in fully leveraging its role as a hub connecting domestic and international markets, but also recognise its sustained contributions to strengthening Shenzhen–Hong Kong cooperation, advancing the integrated development of the Greater Bay Area, and supporting China's dual-carbon goals and the high-quality growth of international trade.

As one of the world's largest single container terminals and a preferred port for cross-border e-commerce in South China, YANTIAN handles over one-third of Guangdong Province's total international trade volume and more than one-quarter of China's exports to the United States. With over 100 international shipping services each week, YANTIAN has built a high-frequency, extensive, faster, and high-efficiency global shipping network, delivering stable, reliable, and high-performance logistics solutions to its customers. At the same time, it continues to strengthen its multimodal transport network, with 34 rail-sea services and 17 feeder services now in operation.

YANTIAN has long been committed to advancing Shenzhen–Hong Kong cooperation, leveraging complementary strengths with Hong Kong's Kwai Tsing Port to fully perform its role as a hub connecting domestic and international markets. This partnership provides stable and efficient logistics corridors for import and export enterprises across the Greater Bay Area and inland regions, enabling mutually beneficial, win–win development among Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and the hinterland.

With the guidance and support of governments at all levels and port supervisory authorities, and backed by the continued trust of its customers, YANTIAN's annual container throughput surpassed 15 million TEUs for the first time in 2024, setting a new historical record. In recent years, YANTIAN has successively launched the Chongqing-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Rail-Sea Service and Chengdu–Shenzhen-Hong Kong Scheduled Rail-Sea Service, establishing golden logistics corridors linking central and western China with the Greater Bay Area. In parallel, YANTIAN has worked with its partners to advance innovative initiatives such as one-time pilotage in Mirs Bay and LNG bunkering services, improving logistics efficiency, accelerating the low-carbon transition, and further deepening Shenzhen–Hong Kong cooperation. Together, these achievements offer a vivid demonstration of "Openness Shaping the Future, Innovation Driving Development."

As an international shipping hub of the Greater Bay Area, YANTIAN has consistently advanced the development of a world-class green port.
It is the only container terminal to have received the "Best Green Container Terminal" award four times, and is China's largest single container terminal in terms of shore power capacity and berth coverage—accounting for approximately one quarter of the nation's total shore power supply. Over the past decade (2014–2024), YANTIAN has achieved growth without carbon growth. While annual throughput increased by 25%, carbon emissions per TEU fell by a remarkable 32%. Building on last year's doubling of both shore power connections and electricity supplied, these two indicators reached new highs again in the first half of 2025, each posting year-on-year growth of over 20%.

Looking ahead, YANTIAN will continue to work in close partnership with all stakeholders to further strengthen its world-class port hub functions in all dimensions. It will deepen Shenzhen–Hong Kong cooperation by advancing hard connectivity in infrastructure, soft connectivity in rules and mechanisms, and people-to-people connectivity across the industry. Through these efforts, YANTIAN will support Hong Kong in better integrating into and serving the national development strategy, help Shenzhen cultivate new strengths and achieve fresh breakthroughs in economic and social development, and contribute to the high-quality development of China's international trade and the realisation of the country's dual-carbon goals, while ensuring the smooth and resilient operation of global supply chains.
