On 26 June 2009, the CMA CGM Pelleas, a mega-vessel deployed by CMA CGM to its French Asia Line 1 Eastbound Service (FAL1E), berthed at YICT.
The new EU service includes nine vessels, each with a carrying capacity of about 10,000 TEU. It takes around 60 days to complete the service route, following a port rotation of Tangier, Southampton, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Malta, Suez Canal, Khor Fakkan, Yantian, Dalian, Xingang (Tianjin), Shanghai, Xiamen and Hong Kong.
Four other weekly Asia-Europe services of CMA CGM also call at YICT, namely FAL1, FAL2, FAL3 and AE3W. FAL1, FAL2 and AE3W are weekend services.
