YICT Opens Jiangxi-Shenzhen Intermodal Service
A A A 缩小 加大 更大

On 5 August 2008, YICT launched a container rail service that links Longnan County in Jiangxi Province to YICT. The new rail service will cost 20 percent less than road transport over the same distance. This will greatly benefit exporters and importers in Longnan and the surrounding areas.

Longnan is located in the southernmost part of Jiangxi. It is the nearest county in the province to the Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong and Macao. Longnan also has the only county-level Exit-Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau in Central and Western China. This bureau provides customs declaration, inspection and procedural services for enterprises in the area.

Aside from its services to Jiangxi, YICT has launched several other rail services to inland destinations in 2007 and 2008. Trains to and from YICT now serve Dalang and Huangpu in Guangzhou, Longnan in Jiangxi, Zhuzhou in Hunan, and Kunming in Yunnan. YICT's professional port operations and cost-effective logistics solutions have made these services a big success among export manufacturers in these areas.
