YICT Launches Its Third Corporate Culture Week
A A A 缩小 加大 更大

At the beginning of November, YICT launched its third Corporate Culture Week in order to enhance communication among its team members. A photography exhibition, a group discussion, a lecture and a family day were all a part of the multi-day event, which was organised to build better relations among employees in various departments and at different levels.

The Corporate Culture Week began on 5 November with a Staff Photography Exhibition entitled "Colleagues around Me". The exhibited photos showed YICT team members on the job, often bearing attentive expressions with which their co-workers could easily identify.

One day later, there were two additional events – a group discussion on work psychology and a lecture on self-maintenance of psychological health. At the events Ms. Liu Shuang, host of a Shenzhen TV programme on psychology, and psychologist Mr. Xu Aiguo gave an analysis of the sources of work pressure and introduced ways to cope with this pressure. These issues are particularly relevant to YICT staff members, who must cope with the demands of keeping a port running around the clock.

Finally, on 10 November, the Corporate Culture Week came to a close with the YICT Family Day at the Window of the World theme park. Around ten thousand employees and family members were invited to the six-hour event, which featured a mini-Olympics at the Eiffel Tower replica, a karaoke competition at Caesars Palace, and a drama performance.

As an employer of 2,600 people, YICT is particularly aware of the need to maintain open communication channels and positive work outlooks among its staff members. Through successful events such as the third Corporate Culture Week, YICT is ensuring a healthy work environment for all.
