CKYH Launches Second New Service within July
A A A 缩小 加大 更大

On 31 July 2007, the CKYH Alliance (COSCO, "K"Line, Yang Ming and Hanjin) launched another new service, the Asia-Europe Service 2 (AES2), at Yantian just 12 days after the commencement of its round-the-world Mediterranean Asia America Pendulum (MAP) service.

With eight 5,610-TEU container vessels deployed by "K"Line, the AES2 service calls at Yantian every Saturday, following a port rotation of Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Le Havre, Port Said, Singapore, Yantian, Kobe, Nagoya, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Since the service calls at major ports in Asia, shipping cargo to the western European ports takes a relatively short time and can thus prove to be competitive in the global shipping market.

Currently, YICT's total of 83 weekly shipping services comprise 37 services to the Americas and 31 to Europe. With such a high frequency of shipping services, YICT is better able to cope with the ever-increasing demands of export cargo shipping from South China.
