On 19 December 2006, YICT based on its tax paying indices and commendable corporate social responsibility was awarded the "National Excellent Taxpaying and Export Performance Enterprise with Foreign Investment 2005", at a ceremony held in the Wuzhou Guest House, Shenzhen. This is the second time that YICT has received this prestigious honour and the only terminal operator to have received this accolade in two consecutive years.
Also on the same day, Mr. Kenneth Tse, Director and General Manager of YICT, was bestowed the grand title of "Outstanding Foreign Entrepreneur of Shenzhen" by the Shenzhen Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment and the Shenzhen branch of China's Chamber of International Commerce.
