On 24 October 2005, YICT welcomed its 42nd American service, AAN (Asia/America North), operated by China Shipping. The new service berths at Yantian every Monday with a rotation of Chiwan, Yantian, Shanghai, Lianyungang, Qingdao, Busan, Los Angeles and Oakland.
China Shipping has deployed five vessels each with a shipping capacity of 4,250 TEU at the service. Its "Xin Bei Lun" is a new container vessel just launched this month.
