With the ever-increasing marketing requirements, CP Ships enhanced its Asia-Australia and Asia-America services to increase shipping capacities. On 8 July 2004, the company launched an Aisa-Australia service (G2) and an America service named Aisa/Canda Sprint (W) simultaneously at Yantian. The two inaugural vessels are "Lykes Crusander" and "Canmar Dynasty" respectively.

G2 calls at Yantian on Thursday every other week with a rotation of Yantian, Xiamen, Ningbo, Shanghai, Sydney, Brisbane and Yantian.

Moreover, W calls at Yantian every Friday with the rotation of Tokyo, Qingdao, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Yantian, Vancouver and Anchorage. Meanwhile, CP Ships' original America service V1 has ceased to call at Yantian since the W service started.
