Forum on "Development of Core Capacity of PoE in China" Held at YICT

On 23 July, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the Department of Health of the HK SAR and the Health Committee for the Ports of Entry of Macao SAR jointly organised a forum at YICT. The forum on the "Development of Core Capacity of Ports of Entry (PoE) in China and Global Public Health Security" was attended by Dr. Daniel Lins Menucci of the World Health Organization (WHO), Zhang Jiwen, Director-General of the Department of Inspection Supervision of AQSIQ, and Qu Haifeng, Deputy Director-General of Shenzhen Extry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau.

At the forum, participants shared different experiences in developing the core capacity of PoE in China and the implementation of Public Health Security. Patrick Lam, Managing Director of YICT, delivered the welcome remarks and accompanied the guests on a terminal tour.
