On 8 June, YICT, Yantian Port Group, Yantian Port Holdings and Shenzhen Agriculture and Fishery Bureau jointly released over 7 million fingerlings into waters of Yantian Port and Yangmeikeng in eastern Shenzhen. The fingerlings include sparus macrocephalus (black seabream), lutjanus argentimaculatus (Mangrove Jack) and penaeus monodon (the giant tiger prawn). The event, aiming to preserve the aquatic environment and the fish species, has entered its fourth year.
