New World Alliance Launches a New US-Eastcoast Service

On 9 June 2003, New World Alliance commenced its New York Express (NYX), a US-Eastcoast Service, at YICT. The new service calls at Yantian every Monday with the rotation of Shanghai, Yantian, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Manzanillo, New York, Norfolk and Savannah. “Hyundai Pioneer”, the inaugural vessel, is 244 metres long with a shipping capacity of 3,014TEU. The New World Alliance has opened up six US service at YICT up to now.
