Maersk Sealand Launches Another US Service

On 4 June 2002, Maersk Sealand's container vessel "Maersk Toledo" arrived to commence another US service at YICT.

Maersk Sealand has deployed five vessels of classes L and D on this TP5 service. The vanguard "Maersk Toledo" is 270 metres in length with the shippping capacity of  3,951 TEU. TP5 is scheduled to call at YICT every Tuesday. The routing follows the sequence of Hong Kong, Yantian, Kwangyang, Long Beach, Oakland, Kaohsiung and Hong Kong.

Maersk Sealand has chosen YICT as its partner in South China since the commencement of the Terminal. At present, it has three US and two EU services calling at Yantian.
