On 29 January 2002, COSCO's "Xiang He" made her inaugural call to YICT. This is a new weekly service from China to Persian Gulf (CPG) jointly operated by COSCO and UGMC. CPG will call at YICT every Tuesday, followed by Qingdao - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Singapore - Dubai -Damman - Karachi - Port Klang. "Xiang He" is 200.48m long and 28.4m wide with slot capacity of 1,686 TEU.
