MOL Increases Shipping Capacity by Deploying Mega Vessels

On 11 March 2002, the container vessel "MOL Precision" berthed at YICT. This is MOL's first vessel of the sixth generation arrived at YICT after New World Alliance has planned to deploy new mega vessels in the JEX service.

To meet the constant growth of cargo volume to Europe, New World Alliance has carried out this deployment plan to increase its shipping capacity. "MOL Precision" is 293.19 metres long with shipping capacity of 6100 TEU. The shipping capacity of previous vessels serving JEX is about 4,000 TEU.
