YICT Hosts Customer Communication Conference 2012

On 10 July, YICT organised a Customer Communication Conference with the theme "Yantian, Excel in Logistics" for over 130 attendees, including cargo owners and representatives from 3PLs and warehousing enterprises. The attendees exchanged ideas on issues such as intermodal transport and warehousing opportunities with the YICT management team led by Managing Director, Patrick Lam.
With more than a decade of development, YICT has become the preferred port-of-call in the region for mega-vessels. It is one of the largest container terminals in the world and has one of the highest intermodal cargo volumes in China. YICT and the adjacent warehousing and logistics centre, the largest of its kind in South China, have formed a synergy that promises both parties significant benefits.
Cargo owners and 3PLs that use YICT are also able to benefit from multi-country consolidation, international sourcing and transit trade while enjoying the advantages of more shipping service choices from YICT and the preferential policies of the Yantian Port Bonded Logistics Park.
