RTGC Power Supply Reconfiguration Team Awarded YICT's Top Prize

On 21 January 2008, the RTGC Power Supply Reconfiguration Team won First Prize, YICT's General Manager Award.
The team had been working on reconfiguring the power supply of rubber-tyred gantry cranes from using diesel fuel to drawing on electric power.
The use of electric-powered RTGCs helps slash exhaust gas emissions and noise pollution to zero.
Eighty percent of the cost of handling a container is saved by using electric-powered RTGCs.
