On 19 September 2009, some 50 YICT staff took part in the events organised by Shenzhen Blue Ocean Conservation Association to mark "International Clean-Up Day 2009" at Jinshawan, Nanao Town of Shenzhen. The events included a pledge ceremony on environmental protection and a beach clean-up, among other activities, to help promote environmental awareness.
