YICT Designated "Shenzhen Science Popularisation and Education Base"

On 22 May 2011, Shenzhen Science and Technology Week was launched at the Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park. Shenzhen Vice-mayor Yuan Baocheng (third from right), officials from relevant governmental departments and representatives from the Guangdong Provincial Association for Science and Technology were present at the kick-off ceremony. YICT, Tencent and three other enterprises were designated as the city's science popularisation and education bases by the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology. Wai Yu Bong (fourth from right), Port Development Director of YICT, attended the ceremony and received the accolade on behalf of the company.
