YICT Holds Q2 Management Luncheon Meeting

On 26 June 2013, YICT held its second-quarter Management Luncheon Meeting. Patrick Lam, Managing Director of YICT, gave updates on the development of the company’s services, after which managers from the Commercial Department and the Operation Services and Development Department gave presentations on “The Naming of Container Vessels” and “The Trend of Super Mega Vessels” respectively. During the Q&A session, attendees shared their ideas on issues regarding the economic environment, international transshipment and so on.
The YICT Management Luncheon Meeting became a quarterly event this year, with the aim of bringing management up to date with developments in the market, shipping industry and YICT’s services. It is also an effort to enhance the communications and interactions among the management team.
