On 21 February 2014, together with the Yantian Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, YICT hosted a communication conference targeting the major rice importers of South China. The attendees were brought up to date on the inspection and quarantine procedures for importing cargo and the service strengths of YICT.
YICT currently provides 12 weekly Asian services, including three sails to the Port of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, three to Haiphong in Vietnam and six to Laem Chabang Port in Thailand. The region’s importers are able to avail themselves of these services to ship their cargo via Yantian for distribution to South China and inland areas in an efficient manner.
