On 28 March 2014, the Container Branch of the China Ports Association presented a number of awards to YICT during its Committee Meeting held in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Based on its position as the preferred port-of-call for super mega-vessels and its well-developed intermodal transportation service, YICT won four awards, including "Container Terminal with Annual Throughput Exceeding Ten Million TEU of 2012-2013 in China"; "Top 7 Container Terminals in terms of Total Container Volume by Intermodal Services of 2012-2013 in China" and "Container Terminal with Water-to-Water Transshipment Throughput Exceeding 800,000 TEU of 2012- 2013 in China"; and "Container Terminal with International Transshipment Throughput Exceeding 100,000 TEU of 2012- 2013 in China".

YICT has been committed to providing world-class container terminal services to the shipping industry, importers and exporters. In January 2013, YICT handled its 100 millionth TEU, a record achieved in a mere 18.5 years.
