On 28 August 2014, Lowe’s, the world’s second largest home improvement retailer, hosted a vendor forum at YICT, attracting approximately 120 suppliers of the brand's furniture, home decorations and landscaping products from South China.
At the event, YICT representatives introduced its terminal operations, container rail services as well as port clearance procedures to the attendees. During the Q&A session that followed, customer concern issues were addressed and ideas were exchanged.
YICT has a long-standing partnership with Lowe’s, which began in 1999. Over the past 15 years, Lowe’s has chosen YICT as its ocean gateway to send its products destined for the Americas.
With the region’s most extensive weekly sailings to the Americas and Europe, YICT is well positioned to provide more logistics choices to Lowe’s to ship its products globally.
