YICT Welcomes Simultaneous Call of Three 18,000-TEU-Plus Container Vessels

On 19 June 2015, YICT received three 18,000-TEU-plus container vessels simultaneously for the first time. The three mega-vessels were CSCL Pacific Ocean, Mayview Maersk and Marit Maersk, all deployed on the Asia-Europe service. Following the port’s simultaneous handling of three 16,000-TEU-plus mega-vessels earlier this year, this has further cemented YICT’s status as a preferred port-of-call for mega-vessels.
