YICT Hosts 10-year Review of Summer Internship Programme

On 28 July 2016, YICT hosted a review to mark the 10th anniversary of its summer internship programme with Dalian Maritime University (DMU) and Shenzhen University (SZU). The event featured academic seminars and in-depth talks between Mr Patrick Lam, Managing Director of YICT, and this year’s interns. Mr Lam, Professor Sun Yuqing, President of DMU, and Professor Li Fengliang, Vice President of SZU, attended the review along with about 150 participants, including interns from both this year and previous years. As part of the event, the students visited Hongkong International Container Terminals.
In the decade since 2007, 234 interns have participated in the programme, gaining the latest industry knowledge and developing a spirit of professionalism. With the programme so well regarded by interns and the two universities, YICT has been honoured as a hosting organisation at the provincial level.
In partnership with DMU and SZU, YICT will proudly carry on the programme into the next decade and beyond.
