Yantian Summer Internship for DMU and SZU Students

On 11 August 2017, a total of 24 students from Dalian Maritime University and Shenzhen University successfully completed their three-week summer internship at Yantian with impressive presentations on their projects.
The 24 students were divided into four groups and assigned to different departments within Yantian. With guidance from Yantian staff as their tutors, the interns conducted questionnaires, fieldwork, case studies and set up data models. At the end of the programme, the students gave presentations on their projects to a panel of judges from Yantian and the two universities.
During these three weeks, the students learnt about terminal operations and business management through interaction with Yantian staff from different departments, preparing themselves for their future career.
The internship programme is now in its 11th year.
