Yantian Welcomes the Inaugural Call of CMA CGM’s Largest Container Vessel, CMA CGM ANTOINE DE SAINT EXUPERY

On 14 February 2018, the 20,954 - TEU “CMA CGM ANTOINE DE SAINT EXUPERY”, made its inaugural call to Hutchison Ports Yantian. Measuring 400 metres long and 59 metres wide, it is the largest one under CMA CGM’s vessel fleet. A welcome ceremony was held at Yantian to mark the event, attended by representatives from the Transport Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, CMA CGM Shenzhen Office and Hutchison Ports Yantian.
Operating on CMA CGM’s Europe Service (ONEU 4), the vessel follows a port rotation of Tianjin (Xingang) – Pusan – Shanghai – Ningbo – Yantian – Singapore – Suez Canal – Algeciras – Southampton – Dunkerque – Hamburg – Rotterdam– Zeebrugge – Le Havre –Suez Canal. During its call at Yantian, about 2, 500 containers were handled at Yantian.
