YANTIAN Celebrates its 25th Anniversary

On 16 November 2018, Hutchison Ports Yantian hosted a customer appreciation dinner themed “Thank you for always being with us” to mark its 25th anniversary and express its gratitude to the customers for their support over the past 25 years. About 350 guests from liner companies, cargo owners and shareholders joined the celebration. Eric Ip, Group Managing Director of Hutchison Ports, Gerry Yim, CEO of Hutchison Port Holdings Trust, and Patrick Lam, Managing Director of Hutchison Ports Yantian attended the event.
On the same day of the celebration, YANTIAN also held staff activities such as an outdoor carnival and the open day of the visitor centre for its employees to celebrate the company's 25th birthday together.
Over the past 25 years, with the commitment to constantly improve terminal operations and service level, YANTIAN has evolved from a greenfield site into one of the busiest container terminals in the world. We will keep on innovating and continue to excel in operating “A Smart, Green and World-class Port” to contribute to the development of the maritime industry and the Guangdong-Hong Kong -Macau Greater Bay Area.
