On 28 February 2019, Yantian’s "Multi-vessel Optimization Project" won the "Technology Innovation Award “of the international shipping category at the first "International Shipping Technology and Internet Conference" held in Shenzhen.

It was awarded after several rounds of rigorous evaluation by the expert committee of the conference . Patrick Lam, Managing Director of Hutchison Ports Yantian, attended the conference and delivered a speech.
