“Control Vessel Discharge and Guard the Blue Sky” Media Campaign Launched at YANTIAN

On 1 June 2019, the media campaign of “Control Vessel Discharge and Guard the Blue Sky” was jointly launched at YANTIAN by the Policy Research Office of the Ministry of Transport (MOT), the Maritime Safety Administration of MOT, the Water Transport Bureau of MOT, China Communications Press and other related parties.
About 20 journalists from the state-level mainstream media such as People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV and people.cn attended the event. At the event, the Yantian Maritime Safety Administration carried out gas emissions and fuel sampling of the berthed vessels by unmanned aerial vehicle, with all tested items meeting the required standards. Representatives from YANTIAN introduced its shore power project and use of other clean energy sources.
