On 29 November 2019, an emergency drill for dangerous goods spill was successfully conducted at YANTIAN. The drill, organised by Yantian District Government and Shenzhen Transportation Bureau, was co-hosted by Yantian Branch of Shenzhen Transportation Bureau, Yantian District Emergency Management Bureau, Yantian Maritime Safety Administration, Yantian Fire Brigade, Water Brigade of Shenzhen Fire Brigade and YANTIAN.
