During the National-Day Holiday, YANTIAN was featured on two of China Central Television's (CCTV) Special Reports on port logistics: 'Stable Port Operation to Secure the Logistical Artery (我国港口稳定运行 畅通物流大动脉)' on October 1 and 'Witnessing Changes at the Frontline of the Port (坚守一线 见证港口码头变化)' on October 3, which covered YANTIAN's infrastructure as well as its staff from both Shenzhen and Hongkong. It is highlighted that YANTIAN's unique channel of 18 metres deep and 475 metres wide in GBA allows two-way navigation for 200,000-DWT vessels in all weathers, and that the company has prioritised building a smarter and greener world-class hub port in the near future.

Shenzhen Television's 'The Remarkable Ten Years of Change (非凡十年·变迁)' enumerated YANTIAN's growing throughputs and achievements in the past ten years. Founded in 1994, YANTIAN handled its 100 millionth TEU in 2013 and its 123,456,789th TEU in January 2015. On 1 February 2021, the company handled its 200 millionth TEU, a world record achieved in only 26.5 years. The report also featured the World's largest container ship "EVER ALOT" and its sister ships under Evergreen Marine, all of which have called at YANTIAN. Now that the simultaneous berthing of 6*400-meter vessels at YANTIAN is conducted at a regular basis, we are confident to accommodate even more behemoths in the days to come.

'Through the Woods into the City (树见城深)'  praised YANTIAN as the frontrunner of Shenzhen-Hongkong cooperation in the Opening-up era. With over 100 weekly services covering the globe, YANTIAN takes Shenzhen's geographical advantage to the next level. We are proud to witness Shenzhen consecutively being the No.1 city in export volume for the past 29 years.

In the special programme 'Welcome the 20th CPC National Congress (喜迎二十大)', the frontline workers at the Port praised YANTIAN's vigour and resilience against the uncertainty in the logistics industry. From January to July, the value of goods handled by YANTIAN surpassed 1 trillion RMB. As one of the World's largest single container terminal, YANTIAN is the preferred port-of-call not only for mega-vessels in South China, but also for businesses doing cross-border e-commerce in the region.
