On 27 July 2008, MSC operates the Tiger service, its new European service, making its inaugural call at Yantian. MSC deployed nine 6,724-TEU vessels for the Tiger service, which calls at Yantian every Friday with a port rotation of Singapore, Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen, Qingdao, Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Singapore, Jeddah, Istanbul and Constantza.
