On 18 December 2007, YICT and Shenzhen University's (SZU) School of Economics jointly hosted a "YICT Forum", the second since the container terminal and the university began collaborating on education projects in May.
At the forum, which was held at the SZU campus, Mr. Oliver Wan, General Manager of TNT Shenzhen, introduced TNT's global locations and services, as well as the group's strategies in China. A question-and-answer session was held after his speech to help the students expand their knowledge of the courier service industry.
YICT Forums are just part of YICT's proactive campus enrichment and education strategy. Through speeches by professionals in ports and logistics, the forums are designed to help prepare students for careers in these fields.
The latest forum is also one of a series of events celebrating the tenth anniversary of SZU's School of Economics, and a follow-up activity to the Seventh Annual China Economics Conference.
