On 13 June 2005, New World Alliance launched a new US West Coastwest service named Pacific Southwest Express (PSX) at Yantian with its inaugural vessel of "MOL Expeditor".
The PSX calls at Yantian every Tuesday and sails to the America directly afterwards. The port rotation of this 28-day round trip is Hong Kong, Chiwan, Yantian, Oakland, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Hong Kong. With the additional new service, there are 68 weekly services calling at YICT.
