On 25 March 2002, the container vessel "Chuanhe" under COSCO made an inaugural call at YICT, to commence a new weekly CSEA service.
COSCO has allocated 5 container vessels, same type of "Chuanhe", to this US service. All of them are 280 metres long with the shipping capacity of 5,446 TEU. It is currently scheduled to call at Yantian on Monday. The rotation follows the sequence of Chiwan, Hong Kong, Yantian, Yokohama, Long Beach, Seattle, Vancouver, Yokohama, Kobe and Chiwan.
