YICT Berth #16 Officially Put into Operation

YICT Berth #16 was officially put into operation. With a quay length of 886 metres and water-depth alongside of 17.4 metres, the new berth is equipped with eight quay cranes, four of which are dual-hoist cranes. The dual-hoist quay cranes have a lifting height of 53 metres and an outreach of 70 metres, making them capable of accommodating 150,000 ton class ultra-large container vessels.
The new berth has further enhanced YICT’s ability to serve mega vessels and better accommodate vessel needs as carrying capacities continue to increase.
