On 19 August 2014, YICT welcomed the 18,000-TEU Mary Maersk, one of the world’s largest container vessels and part of Maersk's Triple E vessel fleet. During its call, the vessel carried approximately 17,000 TEU stacked 11 high under deck with ten tiers of high cube containers on deck, which is equivalent to 11 ties of standard containers on deck.
