Recently, YANTIAN's intermodal service took two important steps in Hunan, a significant gateway to Central China: it signed a statement of cooperation with Xiangyuefei International Logistics on the development of YANTIAN - Zhuzhou Inland Port Alliance, and opened its 8th Inland Port in Yueyang.
In order to build a favourable ecology for cross-border e-commerce and help Chinese brands go global, the Yantian Branch of Shenzhen Cross-Border E-Commerce Association (SZCBEA) was officially established on June 17. The branch will be inaugurated in July and based in YICT Building.

On June 1, the “YANTIAN-Dongguan Port Alliance & Bay Area Express Service” Promotional Event was jointly held by YANTIAN and Dongguan Bay Area Express Group in Houjie Town, Dongguan City.
At 4:00 a.m. on June 1, pilots in Hong Kong boarded “Eureka Maersk”. The vessel arrived at YANTIAN via Mirs Bay under its one-time pilotage service.
Recently, exports from Yantian Port are booming. Berths are full with calling vessels. The port is operating in full swing, safely and efficiently.
Together with China Telecom and ZTE, YANTIAN becomes the first port in South China to equip its remote-controlled RTGCs with 5G devices, making the port more automated, digital, and intelligent.
In order to extend the port function to the inland areas and enable more customers to benefit from the intermodal service, YANTIAN established its 7th inland port in Longchuan.
On May 5, YANTIAN welcomed the maiden voyage of CULINE's "TPC" service with the call of "Ren Jian”.
As part of the effort to facilitate a smooth and efficient flow of container traffic before May Day Holidays, YANTIAN has recently increased the gate-in quota for export laden containers by 1,000 for 4 consecutive days.
On April 10, YANTIAN received ZIM’s new service with the call of “MH Green”.

To ensure stable goods supply from Guangdong to Hong Kong to support the city’s fight against COVID-19, on March 21, YANTIAN launched the "Dongguan-Yantian-Hong Kong" intermodal express service.
Thanks to the support from Shenzhen Municipal Government, Yantian District Government, Shenzhen Transport Bureau, the Customs, the Frontier Inspection and Shenzhen Maritime Safety Administration, the "YANTIAN-Hong Kong" COSCON SHIPPING Lines ("COSCON") Daily Express Service was officially launched on March 1 to further support the transportation of daily supplies to Hong Kong amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
