Shenzhen Hutchison Inland Container Depots (SHICD), a member of Hutchison Port Holdings, will soon launch a two-phase expansion programme.
Yantian International Container Terminals (YICT) is pleased to announce that operations have begun at its first inland container depot in Dalingshan Town, Dongguan City.
A total of 14 Forty-foot Equivalent Unit (FEU) containers of pre-fabricated houses were shipped from Yantian to Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 17 August 2009.
On 4 August 2009, YICT held a ceremony to commemorate the official launching of its electric rubber-tyred gantry cranes (eRTGC). YICT now has 114 eRTGCs in operation.
On 25 July 2009, trial operations began at a new berth at YICT's Expansion Project. To date, YICT has a total of 15 container berths.

On 1 July 2009, YICT received the maiden call of the ACX Diamond, a 3,534-TEU vessel deployed by the consortium of COSCO, Hamburg Süd, MOL and NYK to its JKHN service.
On 26 June 2009, the CMA CGM Pelleas, a mega-vessel deployed by CMA CGM to its French Asia Line 1 Eastbound Service (FAL1E), berthed at YICT.
On 22 June 2009, a Xinhui-Yantian Shuttle Feeder operated by Golden Fame Shipping Ltd. and Dah Chong Hong Logistics Company Ltd.
