After multiple communications between the two parties, on the morning of September 23, YANTIAN successfully exported the oil tank (DG TANK) owned by CAPCHEM via "advance declaration and shipside loading".
The special nature of the goods requires a unique measure of transport: they have to be loaded onto a dedicated TANK in which temperature shall be kept at 12 ℃ all the time. Such strict requirements present a huge challenge to many in the market.
YANTIAN, however, actively reached out to the client to provide our service. After understanding the practical issues our client is facing, we closely cooperate with the customs, ship owners and trucks to transport the goods via "advance declaration and shipside loading", a clearance mode that allows the goods to be carried directly from trucks to the ship.
The transportation of this single TANK marks one of the most complicated operations in the port & shipping supply chain history.
