On May 21, "Huiwan 016," laden with household appliances and other cargoes, departed from Shenwan Port for YANTIAN.

All these cargoes will then be shipped to destinations worldwide. This is the 12th port alliance within the Greater Bay Area established by YANTIAN.

The successful launch of these port alliances owes much to the robust support of government, customs, and port supervisory authorities. The new port alliances leverage internet technology to share port codes with YANTIAN, facilitating seamless information connectivity between ports and mutual recognition of customs oversight. This enables YANTIAN's international hub capabilities to directly benefit local enterprises. For exports, streamlined processes involving "one declaration, one inspection, and one release" greatly enhance clearance efficiency, thereby reducing logistics costs for export-oriented enterprises.

By replacing trucks with dedicated feeder services, larger quantity of cargoes can be efficiently transported on a single vessel, thereby reducing emissions and alleviating road traffic congestion. This initiative not only promotes environmentally friendly practices but also supports enterprises in achieving green overseas shipping.

Under this innovative approach, cargoes originating from the mentioned ports and surrounding areas can seamlessly connect to YANTIAN's premier international shipping services, facilitated through the "port alliance" system. Enterprises benefit from YANTIAN's robust logistics support, ensuring streamlined and convenient global shipping operations.

As of now, we have opened 14 inland ports, 31 rail-sea services, 13 port alliances, and 17 feeder services, serving the Greater Bay Area, Southwest, and Central China regions.

In the future, YANTIAN is steadfast in our commitment to robustly implementing national strategic development plans, embracing the mantle of the preferred port for cross-border e-commerce in South China, and propelling forward port alliances in the Greater Bay Area. We will expand our network, establish ties with more river ports, and play an active role in elevating the shipping hub to greater heights, all while ensuring the stability and seamlessness of industrial and supply chains. These initiatives will not only facilitate the achievement of carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals but also foster the high-quality advancement of international trade in China.
