On 21 March 2006, YICT received the inaugural call from CUE, a new North American shipping service jointly operated by COSCO and Evergreen.
The CUE's port rotation will be Ningbo, Yantian, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Qingdao, Colon, Savannah and Miami. A total of nine 2,700 TEU container vessels have been deployed on the service, four from COSCO and five from Evergreen.
The CUE is the 39th North American service calling at YICT. The commencement of this new service provides shippers with more slots and options for the upcoming peak shipping season to Central America.
