YICT Welcomes the Inaugural Call of the World’s Largest Container Vessel, OOCL Hong Kong
On 28 May 2017, YICT welcomed the inaugural call of the 21,413-TEU OOCL Hong Kong. Measuring 399.87 metres long and 58.8 metres wide, this is the largest container vessel in the world by carrying capacity.

First Direct Rail Freight Link between Shenzhen and Europe Launched
On 22 May 2017, the first container train serving the railway cargo route linking Shenzhen with the Belarusian capital of Minsk set off from YICT, marking the launch of the first direct freight route from Shenzhen to Europe.

YICT Berth #16 Officially Put into Operation
YICT Berth #16 was officially put into operation. With a quay length of 886 metres and water-depth alongside of 17.4metres, the new berth is equipped with eight quay cranes, four of which are dual-hoist cranes.

World’s Largest Container Vessel MOL Triumph Calls at YICT
On 15 April 2017, the world’s largest container vessel in service, MOL Triumph, called at YICT on her maiden voyage. With a capacity of 20,170 TEU, MOL Triumph is the world’s first 20,000 TEU-class container vessel to come on stream.
